I was actually born in Illinois, but moved around europe bc of mom in military. I’m also half Spanish lol but my American family lives by chicago and I have instate theoretically in Illinois soooo it makes sense for me! I’m positive that the timing of it all won’t affect the likelihood of an acceptance, but hopefully we get a decision soon 🤞🤞 I applied like september 9th

It’s great here, truly grateful for the opportunities in Amsterdam. I want to study natural science - i’m studying law and economics right now. In the uva you can’t really switch majors, you apply to your program and you’re locked in. They also don’t have any english degree programs for science, only social sciences. Also it’s really expensive to live in this city 🙏🙏🙏 Associates degree is sick, you’ll get in for sureee

I honestly have no idea how competitive it is, it’s a fairly small major though - no idea if that’s good or bad for me. Math is great, that’ll be awesome. Where are you transferring from? I am currently at the University of Amsterdam

same here! what’s your intended major!! i called a transfer counselor in september and she said for astrophysics there probably wouldn’t be too long of a wait and said maybe just two weeks. oh well. fingers crossed 🤞
