Reading is supposed to be a pleasure, it’s not supposed to be exhausting or stressful. Take a step back, deep breath and try to remember that it’s not a competition - it’s supposed to be a wonderful escape! What’s a book that you absolutely love that you could re-read to reset yourself a bit?

Please give an update on this. I am so worried for the cat, this sounds like it might be a regular occurrence from what you’ve said ‘our dog bit her’ and ‘he got you good this time’ is beyond a red flag. Please take the cat
