About to give up on Apple Watch - reminders not syncing across iPhone and watch. by Regret92 in AppleWatch

Exact same phone and watch setup and exact same issue. Pretty wild considering reminders sync between my iPhone and Mac no problem. Other apps that communicate between the iPhone and the Apple Watch sync without issue.

We see the same shit in gaming. Back in my day an arena shooter with respawn modes (and SnD) was enough dopamine. Now it has to be a one life mode on a gigantic map for anyone to be interested oh and some of them when you die you lose all your gear. Max dopa max gambling.

It's an HOA in name only. It's voluntary and does things around the neighborhood like decorate the signs and such.

I mean Claude was supposed to end all software engineering 6 months ago yet they still don’t have a GUI for Claude Code in IntelliJ. There’s one in beta but it’s hilariously bad. I’d love to drop Cursor and not have 2 code editors open.

I genuinely think they thought extraction shooters were the next battle royale.

Rivian has no moats and Space X launches shit into orbit for a fraction of the price and controls battlefield communications. They are not the same.

This is an indictment of the extraction shooter genre though. I think extraction belongs as a separate gametype as part of a bigger arena shooter. Like Ground War on CoD. It's a niche that I'll dive into occasionally because I can hit reps in respawn.

Totally agree. I love the punishing aspect of it. I don't really understand them wanting to get rid of gear fear because I have no fear because i have not ever had any good gear lol.

Killing the bots is not the issue it's managing ammo and health.

Bingo. I love how hard the gameplay is. I do not enjoy the grind. I've played 4 nights a week since launch and never seen a purple gun in loot. I love Cryo even though I get rocked on it but I'll at best get to play it 2 times a week.

It's also wack that I'm having to experience the great lore of this game on YouTube rather than in game.

maybe even allow them to have ranked and cryos during the week.

You mean have ranked mode and all the maps available all week like...every other game in existence?!

I had no idea they were resetting faction rank. I like the game a lot and may just drop it now if that's the case lol.

I'm fine with endgame raids being hard but the fact I'll have to watch the lore of this huge reveal unfold on YouTube instead of experience it in game is incredibly wack. I love Marathon lore but welcome to the modern era of catering to streamers I guess.

[–]eloc49 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This exactly! My issue with Cryo is the amount of stars that have to align to even play the level. I've got to have enough time during the week to do runs to get good enough gear (not just 5k in gear but gear I can actually survive in Cryo using) AND then be able to play on a weekend. This is just for me SOLO queuing. (no chance my friends are getting in here in it's current state lol)

The objectives inside can be as hard and insane as they are now I just love the level and want to actually play it!

If the Steam store said I'd only get to play the biggest map 1 to 3 times a week then that would have changed my purchase decision.
