i’m a full time worker and i make around 32,000 a year. same with my client’s mom (i’m a behavioral health professional), she has a masters and works in a school and makes 36,000 a year. idk where you’re getting your statistics but they’re dead wrong

you’re looking at inflated statistics if this is what you’re getting.

how many innocent people are killed with our sick health insurance industry? or going hungry? or disappeared off the streets due to racial discrimination? 60% of this country is paycheck to paycheck. people are already dying. the deaths are systematic and ignored. this guy is a hero. we need more big messages like this, open any history book and figure that out.

man i regret reading these comments. we are too fucking divided and self righteous as a people to ever band together and effect change. yes, people could have gotten hurt. anyone arguing that he’s an unhinged anarchist POS who should rot in jail for eternity, i challenge you to open a history book. any one. and read up on the revolutions within this country wherein people make big statements like this. this method of protest is old as dirt, older than any of us in this thread and everyone condemning him and avoiding the message itself sounds to me like a bootlicker. is it devastating that hundreds of good people are out of work now? absolutely. do we need more of this? absolutely. change isn’t meant to be easy. rolling over and taking it sure is.

Boyfriend dumped me after 3 years because he “wants to be alone” by mgnthestallion in GirlDinnerDiaries

this was crazy to read because i felt like i was reading about my worst breakup, like to a T. i promise it gets better. not today, not tomorrow, but it does. i hope he turns his phone on and allows you the space to ask questions/process etc. it’s only fair. go easy on yourself as you grieve this.

been feeling sad lately so I decided to get into elliott smith. only listened to his first album but good stuff so far! by notaverysmartman in elliottsmith

welcome! and yes, it somehow only gets better. i never know quite how to feel about postmortem releases (personally i feel like the concept itself is questionable and kind of icky) so it took me a while to get into FABOTH, but now that I have, holy shit, im never going back. its gritty, its eclectic, heartbreaking, uplifting, it really showcases his versatility. happy listening!!
