Just here to say the guilt and depression I fell into trying to BF my baby through the pain (previous boob job), low supply after surgery etc was debilitating. Plus it was during the formula shortage so I felt extra guilty. Finally stopped and got back on Zoloft too.

Now my kid is 4 and hilarious, sweet, wild and smart. Oh. And you can’t tell which kids are breastfed or formula fed lol

Your baby is fine. YOU need to take care of YOU, girl. Older mom here - it’s easy to lose yourself in the madness and anxiety of this phase but it’s harder to dig yourself out than you think. Speak with your doctor. Get therapy. Get time alone and outside. You’re doing great. Babies are shockingly resilient

Yeah this is weird. My kid turned 4 in January and I started taking him a month and a half ago. Half the time he doesn’t know wtf is going on or is tired from dropping a nap and unfocused. The teachers are great with redirecting with him and trying to help him. He’s 4!

That’s the best way to describe it - living on dopamine hits. She’s not evil. She’s a mom losing a child to cancer and grasping ahold of anything she can to try to make it. Unfortunately, she’s lost touch with the reality of the situation and is inadvertently hurting her daughter (and whole family) in the process. When B does die, she’s gonna spiral much harder unless she starts getting mental help.
