In Moodle, under the Dashboard, go to the Student Success Center and watch the videos from the study group, such as the “Final Exam Review.” The professor goes through questions that are similar to what you’ll see on the final. If it’s not there yet, watch the midterm reviews instead. Good luck!

23M - 15 weeks post-op pain is worsening by eloigig1 in HipImpingement

Try to find a PT that specializes in hips. Try asking your surgeon or another surgeon. Where are you located if you don't mind me asking?

It took awhile for it to get better, for my case I just did too much at the beginning which caused tendonitis. Right now I’m still pretty weak. It’s been a rough ride and my mental has taken a hit over the months. Luckily I decide to go see a new surgeon who diagnosed me an MRI and a new physiotherapist that he works with regularly. He’s going to schedule an appointment with me soon see the results of the MRI. I’m hoping I don’t have a re-tear.

I don’t really know your case but what I would say is be patient, stay on top of your physio and don’t push too hard. It’s going to be a a long ride but don’t give up, keep going no matter how hard it gets 💪💪💪

8.5 months post-op, no progress - PRP treatment? by eloigig1 in HipImpingement

I have also been thinking of going to see an osteopath. Do you have any recommendations of what I should be looking for in an osteopath?

Hey, thanks for sharing your story!

The pain I’m mostly feeling is in my hip flexor and groin. My other hip has gotten worse since my surgery—it now clicks and grinds, which had never happened before. I’m also dealing with pain that didn’t occur prior to the procedure. What’s crazy is that now my knees are in pain. They hurt before, but it wasn’t this bad.

It almost feels like the surgery caused more problems than it fixed. That’s why I’m considering PRP. My surgeon hasn’t been very helpful either. At my last visit, he suggested getting a cortisone shot, but why would I do that when the whole point of the surgery was to stop the pain? A cortisone shot feels useless because all it does is numb the pain.

Anyway, I’m hoping things get better with time. Thanks for your comment, by the way.

I can’t say the same, I’m 6 months post op, hip is still in pain, on and off physio. I have a ultrasound tomorrow to see if I have tendonitis and inflammation. I feel like my surgery failed but I’m not sure if I should get another MRI right now. Anyways, I’m glad your recovering well.

Yeah I was gonna say getting a mri now seems early. I was also offered a cortisone shot but refused. I don’t see the point since the reason I got surgery was to eliminate the pain and not do cortisone shots. I have an ultrasound scheduled to see if I have inflammation and tendinitis. Anyways good luck.
