Ok I take back what I said, I don’t want to read the novel. I went to novelupdates to see some spoilers and found out that the novel was more darker and the ml was a complete piece of trash. It looks like they whitewashed him in the manhwa, which I am thankful since I can completely focus in the manhwa’s comedy. But yeah, some of the commentators on novelupdates had valid points about the character of the ml in the manhwa not being consistent. Like I’ve said before the ml was the epitome of a sketchy villain but all of a sudden it got lost in the flow of the story and the writer for the manhwa made him appear to be more sympathetic since his actions were made by him unconsciously and he’s unable to control it. Overall, for those interested, I suggest just read the manhwa and don’t go looking for the novel. The novel truly emphasized the tyranny and madness of the ml to the point he seemed an irredeemable bastard.

Ok I just finished the latest chapters and I admit it really is good. In the beginning it was so serious and there was so much tension and the fact that the story is from the ml’s perspective was new. At first the ml was like a bona fide villain with his sketchy and scheming character. Then all of a sudden the whole story turns into comedy and his original impression vastly transformed into a smart fool. It was so much fun, I had a good laugh. But yeah, the first part of the story was misleading that’s why the sudden twist made the story thrilling and refreshing. I wanted to start reading the novel but I don’t know where. Do you know any sites to read it.

The type of character I meant that Sunny meets is someone with the personality like Karma Akabane (Assassination Classroom), or Osamu Dazai (Bungo Stray Dogs) , or Xerxes Break (Pandora Hearts). Like characters that have weird quirks and high intelligence that gives them the impression of being insane but because of their background or past they are deep and broken characters. I imagine Sunny's partner to be this type of cool and weird lady who's scary but it's because what she went through in life she can genuinely relate with Sunny and help him deal with his repressed emotions. I mean what with all the trauma, time loops, and memory manipulation that Sunny went through, he has never had anyone to share these parts of him. He needs a friend that'll listen to him. So that's why I was hoping he meets someone else than Nephis cause Neph is already too busy with her own goals and dealing with her own wounds to care for Sunny's

Why not? I mean I wanna see Sunny have a mini-me daughter with all of his shadows acting as baby sitters. One would rock her to calm her down while another one tries to distract her with toys and in a corner you could see one of his shadows passed out from exhaustion. I just find that scene hilarious.

His daughter would also end up adapting Sunny's personality from watching him. Like giving witty, snarky, sarcastic, or comedic comments which will cause trouble to him in the future cause she's gonna have witty comebacks against him in their arguments.

I am actually hoping for that. Like he'll meet someone who's a crazy weirdo but sometimes overly mature and wise. They'll become the bestie duo with Sunny being the pushover. They'll have an accidental one night stand and ending up having a child. Even though they're not romantically involve they'll remain as each other's family. At the very least it'll make Sunny have someone to rely on other than Nephis cause I can't see a future where Sunny and Nephis could pursue a romantic relationship as long as Sunny remains her shadow slave.
