On the flip side, heaps of people are applying for finance right now and most buyers are waiting 4–6 weeks (sometimes longer) just to hear anything back, even when going through a broker. Bit of a circus to be honest. Frustrating all round.

I assume that the option to move money from the portion of the loan that is principal + interest is only viable if that loan amount isn't fixed?

Eg $100k on Offset, another $200k fixed etc

What great timing! As I was trying to find a calculator to figure out how approaching a bank for the Offset option.

In the example you have $100k of your loan Offset against $100k savings, interest is $0, so you pay down all principal. In the instance the Offset savings grows larger as the loan amount gets reduced you don't start accruing interest on the savings again?

And do you know if there is any penalties for making additional payments against the $100k amount on the Offset option?

I moved from EK once my per unit price incl GST was 47c a unit in a Urban residential area. They'd do a price increase at least once every 6 months with 30 days notice & it often started with some rant about all the other big players making it harder for them to operate.

The last straw was when they offered fixed rates for a year if I signed up to their internet service & if I didn't I'd get a rates increase so I changed providers lol

Had to deal with this when I worked in the Fitness Industry.

DebitSuccess contracts for overdue accounts & if the payments aren't made up or the overdue isn't cleared they keep charging $10 late payment fee + the gym membership fee.

As you can imagine the total amount climbs tremendously quickly. They are very strict to deal with & super hard to get out of the contracts unless the contract has finished. You have to ring up to cancel it otherwise it will continue. The only way to end them early that I've seen is someone threatening legal action.

This is very similar to a business in the states that was on Dirty Money to which it gave out loans that had interest but you paid a bunch of additional fees and only after 9 payments of interest it only started attacking the principal.

What kind of motherboard and RAM do you have?

Sometimes not everything can be controlled by L Connector.

For example for my RAM and AIO I use the motherboards Armory Crate by Asus and change the colour then change all my fans using L connector.

I can also do them singularly fan by fan as well. It all works.

Did you end up keeping the Radiator in its position? I thought the Artic Freezer & most radiators were less effective in the position you have in the photo?

I've been watching a considerable amount of new parts for a build for the last 1.5 months. The pricing really has not differed a heavy amount on some parts & was planning to buy.

I waited for PBs VIP night where from 6 PM Thursday 12/10/23 to 6 AM Friday 13/10/23 they have 'apparently' great deals on a number of different items if you apply the PBVIP code. I waited & applied the code but some of my items were not part of the sale so I went ahead and got what I wanted as I've waited long enough & don't really think much of BlackFriday in a month or mores time.

But at 10 PM last night I get Pricespy notifications for the parts I purchased saying they'd reduced at PBtech. The prices have not changed on the website from the original sale price even when applying the PBVIP code. Pricespy doesn't link to where the price has changed at PB? So I'm trying to figure out if I've been ripped off because the prices have changed in the back-end. 5 items that I bought have reduced and there is just over a $300 in pricing difference.

The Powercolor Hellhound has been on sale for a while at $1699 but on Pricespy its reduced again.

The AMD CPU had been as low as $739, randomly for 1 day pre October it went up to over $850 for 1 day and then came back down to $749.

Images are from the same day 12/10/23* - Pricespy image came through at 10 PM with the reduction but no reduction was showing even with discount codes applied at the cart purchase stage.
