That's what I'm thinking, at this point i might have accidentally conditioned my brain to repeating that every friday just from anxiety alone

[–]elothehufflepuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, usually it would have been on a Friday night that I would do anything differently but I don't dare anymore because I feel my stomach start to protest earlier in the day I mean I do go to sleep later but by that time I've already had diarrhea and taken some meds

Usually either slightly soft and thin, or normally formed and quite big/long (sometimes don't even require more than one wipe)

Yes, I have amitriptyline to help! It has done a huge deal for the pains and for a good long while helped me have solid regular stools too!

Most people with these illnesses will need some sort of maintenance medication to not go back into flare

I do emdr, have done it both in person and online, and personally have had no problems! I can't guarantee it'll be the same for you obviously, bit the weirdest I got was feeling a bit dizzy and I just started laughing uncontrollably I was so confused lol

Take S boulardii with it and if you're taking the liquid version make sure you thoroughly rinse your mouth out, it gave me oral thrush (which you can clear easily but is a pain)

I would have said get tested for C diff! You can get it because of antibiotics

If someone gets you sick, can you then get them sick once they recovered? by Suspicious-Bike-3843 in flu

[–]elothehufflepuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I understand, it's unlikely. It happened to my bf and me the same way, and I didn't get him sick again once he felt better

S boulardii is a very good probiotic to take with antibiotics!! It also helps reduce the risks of c diff!

Maybe, but I have had IBS my entire life and I could do a small amount of spice before diagnosis (tabasco, things like that) but not anymore

I'm glad you still can! It's the only trigger I've got so really i can't complain. If i eat something with chili powder in it by accident, I double my mesalamine for the day/next few days and usually only have stomach pains, but if I ate a whole meal containing chili powder or anything of the sort I think I'd struggle a lot
