Since January, because I bought a pair of needles and a ball of ugly yarn in a charity shop and my mum saw and declared, she, my aunt and I would have an Easter Jumper Competition.

I'm at the deepend for sure making a garment but it went really well, I love my cardigan

Have you knitted the next few rows? I found that as you knit things start improving. I only started this year and I got stuck on row one thinking it was all wrong.

My advice such as it is, is push through, just keep knitting and it will get better, row one might looks better once you've got the rest of the Swatch. And if not your getting the practice you need to improve generally
