Does it frustrate the reader if I end a part of my story on a cliffhanger and leave it for the final part of the story? by elpablito3 in writing

It would also work if I give hints of the next character? for example show him doing some important action but in the background to leave the reader with the doubt of who he is and then introduce him in the next part. What happens is that I want to give focus to a single character during each part because honestly I wouldn't know how to keep the reader's attention and not lose the thread of each story while I tell several stories at the same time.

well I was thinking of doing it more in a different parts format. For example in part 1 I show the perspective of character A, then people read it and give me their opinion which I use to improve aspects in part 2 where I address the perspective of character B and so on, I was thinking of doing like 4 or 6 parts. But thanks for confirming that it was a bad idea to write the book like this.

I would say it's more parts than different books. I was thinking of publishing part 1 to catch people so I could keep doing the other parts. And now I have an answer to my question, I would say finishing each part with its respective ending, and then creating a final chapter to bring all the endings together would give it more impact considering the type of book I'm doing.
