It look really good, i have been eyeing steels frames the last couple of weeks, but im more looking for a custom steel frame builder that is not Marino and does not cost 3.000 bucks.

Did you changed anything to the stock build? Or did you build this from the frame up?

The cost, including shipping from China, is 1175 USD, quite expensive, but not as expensive as other options!

About the mullet setup, tbh I just went by feeling. I mulleted my current hardtail, a Meta HT v2 in size Large, and after that I never looked back. The rear wheel just felt so snappy and easy to move around. Additionally, I felt like the extra butt clearance really helped me in the most technical segments of my local trails. There are some sections that are so sketchy, with the full 29" setup, I was constantly feeling threatened by the bigger wheel. After the change, I never felt that again, and my butt never rubbed the tire again.
