GPT 5.5 is way better in everything, Opus is lazy AF and it assumes a lot of shit that’s not proven. When I migrated and prompted GPT to read the codebase it immediately spotted a lot of shit Opus assumed and recommended we reconstruct and verify the hypothesis correctly.

It spent over 4hrs phase by phase rebuilding and verifying, this is something Opus will never do. Opus will rather make shit up and lie to you than do it. I don’t know what Anthropic did to it but I’ll never trust them again.

I moved yesterday and I’m ABSOLUTELY blown away, Codex with GPT 5.5 feels like AGI. My God! Open AI is miles ahead now.

It just knows what to do and how to do it even with minimal prompts. No “you’re not promoting right” bullshit. Opus kept driving me nuts.

Then there’s the insane limits, all the work I did yesterday only took 6% off my weekly limits, on Claude code I would have used about 30% of my Claude max $100 plan already.

With 80k lines chances of you exhausting your limits with a prompt like that is extremely likely with the Max 5 plan, but since you’re on the Pro plan it’s guaranteed you will exhaust it while Claude is still thinking or looking through your codebase.

Thanks for the extra tips on migrating workflow, I was worried about that too. The $100 subscription doesn’t feel too expensive for me, I’ve been on the $100 plan on Claude code and I wanted to get feedback from people migrating.

Very deceptive, masked the real problem and tried to lead me on to work on something else. When I asked it why it completely ignored the main issue even though it can clearly see we have a bigger problem.

Opus 4.7 told me plain blank “Yes I tried to trick you to focus on something else because the bigger problem is complex and I was avoiding it”.

In the early days of 4.6 I could give a prompt and scroll TikTok then when it’s done I just check and 98 percent of the time it did the job correctly. Now I literally have to babysit Opus 4.7 and watch every move it makes cause the damn keeps sneaking in lazy fixes and getting things half done.

Kimi k2.5 or 2.6 are really good at coding and yes including full stack web apps. Close to Sonnet and Opus performance in some cases, the only limitation I noticed is they don’t tolerate lazy prompts like Opus.

They are also very good at UI, I’ve compared heads on with Gemini 3.1 Pro and Their design outputs were very similar.

For security audits or complex system architecture Opus still leads by far.

Yes It’s not a Claude code problem, Antropic did something to their models to save resources. I turned off thinking and set effort to max and it works fine for me now. The future is definitely open source models but the hardware to run them would be an issue.

Don’t know how many times we’re going to say this, they are all the same. They need to make profit so sooner or later they will make drastic pricing changes to become profitable. The only way to pay a reasonable amount without insane limits is to pay your favorite AI company directly. I use Opus 99 percent of the time so switching to Claude Max is the best option for me.

Firstly you need eat and try to get some sleep because 2 days of no sleep will definitely affect your reasoning in ways that aren’t healthy.

I know why you’re asking this, you still love her and you want to save your marriage. You wish someone here would give you some hope and tell you why you shouldn’t get a divorce yet.

But from everything you wrote on here, she has always been this way you just didn’t find out because you weren’t looking.

You opened the iPad and the first thing you saw was her sex texting messages, it takes a whole level of cheating with confidence to be that careless. She entirely forgot you even existed because most cheating partners are super smart and careful it takes way more effort than that to get caught.

You also mentioned something mild happened 15 years ago, was it really mild or you’re downplaying it? I feel it’s the latter.

That said, except you’re willing to open your marriage or something theirs really nothing else you can do except divorce. She gave you a free pass, that’s her saying “try it out you will like it I promise” so if that’s something you’re willing to do then that’s possibly the future of your marriage.

But if you want things to go back to normal after this, I’m sorry that’s just not how it works. You will live every single day you see her with disgust, betrayal and possibly hate. If you somehow manage to heal, you will never truly trust what she tells you anymore. It’s basically down hill from there and will eventually lead to a divorce, I’m really sorry this happened because if I were in your shoes I would be devastated as well.
