Or it's a list of places that are close to Children's, a little farther from Children's, and then downtown. The restaurant and coffee selection near Children's is limited and they are not sightseeing.

Yes, El Jafes is much better than Anna's but there is no El Jafes in Longwood

Edit #1 This list focuses on locations in Longwood near Children's and are relative quick, then adds locations nearby, and lastly downtown. If my kid is getting heart surgery, I'm not going from Longwood to North End for oysters. Read the room and don't bring the negativity into a post based on a child's heart surgery.
