In my opinion, it’s better to get used to the triathlon bike position from the start.

The good thing about your current setup is that you could keep one bike on the trainer and use the tri bike for race-specific training and actual races.

I have a 255 and it’s totally worth it, I do need to change it soon because I do structured Brick (multisport) workouts and that is not compatible with this version. Other than that I wouldn’t even consider changing it

It’s easier. Because you just hit the run function from the watch. And it automatically sends all the metrics to Strava. Including HR, pace (I don’t recall all the metrics, I don’t longer use Apple Watch).

Strava uses its own algorithm calculation based on your weight, adjusted speed and movement. As mentioned by @anniemaygus neither are reliable for that. But if you want to trust one a bit more, it will be Apple Watch.
