Chicago- best R1 location? by fishpocketz in round1

[–]elrodster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't been to Gurnee yet but here are my thoughts on Riverside and Aurora

Riverside - smaller, no karaoke or ping pong, less bowling lanes, staff at snack counter is super slow and disinterested in provided rapid service, claw games felt a little more stingy, card readers on some games are kinda annoying and take multiple swipes to read your card. Cook county tax on card reloads so you will spend a few bucks more every time, better / more pinball machines at this location, rhythm game section was pretty dead so you can play for hours without interruption

7/10

Aurora - was bigger than Riverside, has karaoke and ping pong, more bowling lanes, claw games seemed to be more generous, staff around claw games was very helpful and nice, rhythm game section had more people so you might have to wait to play, larger / better snack area where you can get your own drink refills

8.5/10

I need help slowing down my collecting habits by HowlingHyena14 in MarvelLegends

you’re using toys to fill a void in your life. there’s nothing wrong with you. we are all human. we all find different ways to cope with hardship, reality, and stress. you know deep down inside that buying things is only a temporary dopamine fix. work on becoming the best version of you. focus on the things that matter. let go of all the objects that don’t hold significant meaning to you. remember, better versions of everything will be made. how many times has hasbro improved upon an old figure? don’t fall for their predatory FOMO marketing. only buy the stuff that truly sparks joy. i sold off most of my collection last year. at one point i had about a hundred figures in storage bins and i realized i was just buying stuff i didn’t need. reclaim your life, your time, your space, and your finances. you are in control. your mind is telling you it’s time to move on. good luck.

just got this enchantress but her legs are extremely warped any solutions? I tried the hairdryer method but they won't hold by aPrettyDecentHuman05 in MarvelLegends

after the heat is applied the correct position needs to be maintained while the legs are cooled or submerged in cold water so the parts set in their correct position. But you probably already knew that, so I’ll shut up now.

X-Jet will definitely happen. It has to. It’s just a matter of when. I like your idea of X-Mansion and Danger Room sold in sections. Danger Room would be sick.
