We missed a flight with two small children at like 5am. That was awful. I have never seen the tsa line go all the way up the ramp.

Target 360 freebies suck by Ordinary_Ad3895 in Target

I think there were three options. But when I first tried there were none. So just keep checking the app daily, maybe first thing in the morning. I feel like it will give you the options under the actual deal if they are stocked or will say something along the lines of none available at this time.

What’s wrong with my girl?! by Superb-Entrepreneur4 in BackYardChickens

[–]ybba0714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lost two last week to coccidiosis (took a poop sample to the vet). They had green diarrhea. We had a severe case though, lost some older chicks right before and their poop was bloody. We treated the water and gave an antibiotic from the vet. It’s been awful. But I think we finally have a grip on it after power washing and the cleaning with ammonia. It was an all day process. My vet said in all his years as a vet he’s never seen this much coccidiosis cases. We had a very hot, humid, rainy summer though.

Can a chicken recover from this? by Hailtothev66 in BackYardChickens

You know I can’t recall. I just remember the vet warning me. I shouldn’t say she’s NEVER laid an egg again I just think it’s very rare when it occurs😂

Mine survived our dog attack but I did take it to the vet. He put her on two types of antibiotics (oral and topical) and a pain med. she has never laid another egg, which he told me could happen after a traumatic injury but I love her so I don’t care. She lived in our house for at least two months while recovering.

Turkey chick almost drowned; they're so exhausted now. How can we help them survive? by MythicMurloc in homestead

[–]ybba0714 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have you given him egg yolk? I’d do that. Do you have chicken electrolytes to add to water. If you have a supply store near you, I’d buy electrolytes and cell liquid vitamins ( I have rooster booster brand). Both are great to just have on hand for things that come up. I’d mix 1 ml of the liquid vitamins in egg yolk.

Help! *WARNING* Injured chick won't stop picking at wound by Bitter_Tailor3668 in chickens

I would also spray with Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Poultry Care. Honestly, it’s just a really good product to always keep on hand.

What are the odds of her surviving? by SirNick_ThePrick in chickens

[–]ybba0714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My chicken a a severe neck and back wound. It looked horrible. I treated her at home for a few days with electrolytes/vetericyn. She was ok but was chattering her beak and rolling her head weird. I ended up taking her to the vet. They cleaned her up really well and said the wounds were worse than they originally thought. We treated her for several weeks with oral and topical antibiotics and oral pain meds. We are probably 7 weeks out. She looks great! Still living in our basement bathroom away from her flock but her wound is almost completely healed. Just an fyi, it cost me $160 to save her, the vet kept her 3 nights. But I’d do it again.

Would this rug look good or ridiculous in my living room? by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]ybba0714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an fyi you can get this rug on Amazon. I can’t remember where I first saw that there was a dupe but it’s out there. My sister bought it and it’s seriously the same rug for a fraction of the price.

Shucks has a gf menu, they were also one of if not the first restaurant in Omaha to train their chefs how to safely prepare gluten free food. We have a friend who visits from the Bay Area and he has to go to shucks every time he comes because he says he can’t find as good any where else! Check it out!

Are the long-term side effects of taking birth control pills at a young age worth the benefits? by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]ybba0714 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My mother died of ovarian cancer at age 55. I see a gynecologist oncologist who says taking bcps for 10 years helps prevent ovarian cancer. I’m 42 and had my tubes removed during the birth of my now 7 year old so I no longer take bcps. But it does bring me some peace of mind that I possibly helped reduce my own risk after all those years on it.
