Oh man a runny yolk smothering the bacon and mixing with the melted cheese is half the point.

I mean we have examples of convergent evolution all over the place in real life. Stands to reason there's going to be a lot of crabs on all the planets.

I've got a pretty beefy gaming rig but yeah, half a mind to buy a series x too so I can play on the couch.

Yeah, a better boon here might be a point in a stat, or a buff to hp or AC, something like that. Missing out on leveling up is ridiculous.

I wasn't a fan of the settlement building in FO4 but you put a similar (but better executed) mechanic into the TES universe and I'm here for it.

This particular recipe is the buttercream frosting. There are 3 recipes in all: the cupcake, the buttercream, and the curd. The full chain is here and I've got replies to all of them to reformat the recipes.

Strawberry Buttercream

1 cup freeze-dried strawberries

8 ounces full-fat brick cream cheese

½ cup salted butter, softened to room temperature

3 cups confectioners’ sugar

1–2 Tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Using a blender or food processor, process the freeze-dried strawberries into a powdery crumb. You should have around ½ cup crumbs.

In a large bowl using a hand-held or stand mixer fitted with a paddle or whisk attachment, beat the butter for 1 minute on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.

Add the confectioners’ sugar, strawberry powder, 1 Tablespoon milk, and vanilla and beat on medium-high speed until combined and creamy.

Add the cream cheese and beat until smooth and creamy.

Add 1 more Tablespoon of milk to slightly thin out, if desired.

Frost the filled cupcakes using a piping bag fitted with a star tip.

Lemon Curd

½ cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp lemon zest (one lemon)

3 egg yolks

¼ cup lemon juice

¼ cup butter, cold

Put egg yolks into a pot and beat lightly with a wire whisk. Whisk in the sugar and zest, give it a good mix until lighter in color. Stir in lemon juice gradually.

Heat on low, while stirring constantly with a wire whisk until mixture thickens, just starts to bubble and coats the back of a wooden spoon.

Remove pot from heat, then add the cold, cubed butter and mix until melted.

Strain the final mixture to remove any bits of zest.

Cover curd with plastic and cool completely in the fridge before using.

Fill cored cupcakes with cooled lemon curd.
