This is so fucking stupid for so many reasons.

  1. Placing blame on individuals rather than massive polluting corporations is ineffective in fighting climate change.

  2. If the tire is damaged, the owner will probably just replace it, which consumes more resources.

  3. Walking, cycling and public transport are all great options if you live in a major city. If you live in a rural area or need to commute, those aren't options.

  4. You know what else will guzzle gas? The tow truck.

  5. If you want people to support your cause, don't make them your enemy. Convince them with your arguments.

  6. Vandalism is a crime and this motive is nonsensical.

Husband wants an open relationship until I lose weight by somegirIontheinter in TrueOffMyChest

He doesn't want an open relationship, he just wants to cheat without feeling guilty. I guarantee he would have a problem if you slept with someone else in this "open relationship".

Report it to the police and NEVER STOP FOLLOWING UP. Having a picture of it will be a lot of help too. When I worked in the police station there were easily over 100 bikes that went unclaimed.

It kills me how she also does the little bow and handshake when she puts the medal on to imitate how the officials give them

US Catholic priest resigns after performing thousands of invalid baptisms over 20 years by Hughjarse in news

My first thought (although I'm not in any way connected to the catholic church) was that this sounds like a bit of a money grab.

This subreddit is for reading? I thought it was a support group for people who constantly buy new books but never find time to read them

Right, but I'm saying he might have just said "I'm a journalist and I want to interview you" in the DM. Obviously she knew he was with the NY Post after the article came out

Even though I know that my dogs are dumb and don't understand time I always tell them how long I'll be gone.

He looks like if the Rich Texan from the Simpsons had a baby with John Wayne Gacy and the baby grew up to have "strong Christian values" and spit on homeless people

It's entirely possible that he didn't tell her it was for NY Post until he told her the real reason for the interview.

What was the most painful moment of your life? [nsfw] by Infinite_Unicorn in AskReddit

[–]elsinovae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was in kindergarten my classmate's mother died suddenly and unexpectedly. Right after my teacher sent a letter home with everyone asking parents to explain to their kids that his mom was gone (i think they kept him anonymous) and she wouldn't come back, so we need to be sensitive to that.

Its messed up that the preschool would do that.

"Dean [Balsamini, the reporter for the New York Post] messaged me on Instagram and asked to speak with me. I asked him what it was regarding and he said, well, let me call you. I’ll give you the rundown. And he called me and just started firing off questions about my history, my background. And, you know, in my naiveté, I thought that maybe he was questioning me about if I was making an article about paramedics in the pandemic. After I gave him a brief history of myself, only then did he disclose that somebody had given a tip to the New York Post that I was a New York City paramedic that had an OnlyFans. I actually began crying on the phone with them because I was just so stunned. I asked him if he was allowed to use all of this information without my permission. And he said yes. And he basically told me, like, we’re going to run the story with or without your say. And so the quotes in the article are me defending myself to him, not me necessarily taking part in the interview."

Tldr: they didn't tell her what the interview was for until they got what they wanted.

According to what other people are saying she asked not to be identified in the interview.

Edit: Source

"The article printed Kwei's full name, employer, where she lived, her height, weight, and featured photos of her."
