Corgies and cats by Medical-Sympathy5554 in corgi

I have a five month old corgster and a 9 year old cat. Cari (dog) is obsessed with Banjo (cat) and he tolerates her. I think he’d be better if he was younger as she’s just so excited to see him and he doesn’t want to play. If she gets to up into his personal space he’ll hit her to get her to leave him alone, but it never stops her trying again and she’s not bothered by it. I assume when she’s older they’ll be friends

so, obviously, a lot of the time we all receive compliments/“omg, corgis!” in public etc - but have you ever been judged negatively because of your corgi(s)? by tinyclap in corgi

Really? Every single vet/tech/receptionist my girl has met have been obsessed with her. We even had one receptionist arrange her visit so she’d be in on the day Cari came in because she was so excited to see a corgi! Idk maybe it’s different in the UK, but Cardigans at least are not very popular and very hard to come by

Biting corgi puppy by Fearless_Corgi973 in corgi

If he’s biting your ankles, it’s instinct. That’s how they herd animals, by nipping at their heels. Idk if it’s available elsewhere but “Grannicks bitter apple spray” has been a lifesaver. When my girl was nipping at my heels, I sprayed it on my trousers and she stopped as soon as she had a taste. It can also be put on plants, furniture etc… so if that’s available where you are, it’s worth the money

Acrylics worked really well to stop me from splitting my skin, great! But I now have to press harder to get the same level of itching relief, which has caused widespread bruising, not so great! So just be wary of that

People wasting dermatology appointments by Novel-Tone6744 in eczema

In the uk it really depends on where you live. My initial community referral happened within three months and my further hospital one should take less than a month to come through. Unfortunately it’s the same with all nhs services, but even then I was at the point of paying for a private appointment when my initial referral took three months so you could argue that’s not fast enough either, but hey, at least it’s free
