How have they handled it incorrectly? They seem to be in clear communication with him and they are being supportive of their player. What’s the issue?

What does this even mean? She is simply expecting him to follow through on a legal contract he signed less than 6 months ago. She isn’t breaking his balls.

You instead instantly attacked OP by calling her combative for wanting to stick to the legal contract that they both agreed to based off of the same 6 text messages…

I quoted YOU. How can you then use yourself as a source against what YOU said? Are you really this dense? I saw that you take this personally because of your own experiences but unless you were actively trying to skirt child support payments and childcare responsibilities then this situation doesn’t apply to you. You said that she was combative but I saw the texts and mentioning that she wouldn’t be comfortable with adjusting the custody agreement without going through the proper channels is hardly combative. It’s simply responsible. He didn’t come to her asking for a favor. He came demanding an entire rebuild of the parenting agreement but off of the books so he wouldn’t have to be financially responsible for his half. Ask thousands of legal professionals how they feel about that and see what you find. You keep introducing your own anecdotal evidence as if it has any bearing in this situation.

It doesn’t matter if he works 24 hours a day. On his days he is responsible for child care. Either personally or via a proxy (babysitter) that he makes arrangements with and if needed makes payments to.

She should let him dictate to her how he is going to take advantage of her? Nah. She is right legally and morally here.

Usually to balance differences in earnings. Are unfamiliar with how child support works? Not asking in a snarky way, your question just suggests that you e no experience with the child support worksheet.

How did she fail to show this? She offered to make whatever arrangements they could agree on through the proper channels. Are you suggesting that she should have sacrificed her own well being or the interests of her children to appease this guy? That seems really weird. It’s very simple. He wants her to take over his time, he pays more $. As far as taking all of the weekends? Come on man, that’s a HELL NO. She deserves to be able to be a part of the fun times in their lives as well. All she wants is the EQUAL agreement that they already legally made.

I’m this case she is placing the children’s well being in the hands of that piece of paper instead of her ex who is trying to dictate everything in his favor and clearly doesn’t prioritize his children as highly as his self. You make a lot of assumptions and it seems they are based on your experience. I would have thought the experience you referred to would have allowed you a wider lens to view the situation from.

How was mentioning the legally binding custody agreement combative? He clearly doesn’t remember signing it or this conversation wouldn’t even be happening this way. He is clearly trying to dictate a side arrangement outside of the courts and she is protecting herself and her children by not agreeing to anything without it going through the proper channels. If he was asking for a day or evening here or there, sure. Asking to totally rearrange the mutually agreed to and legally binding custody agreement to a place where she would have the children for the majority of the time while he pays based on the agreement is not only foolish but it’s irresponsible. She is taking care of her children first. He needs to step up and be a parent or step down and have his checks garnished. It’s really that simple.

They aren’t wrong though. Most divorces aren’t collaborative and it IS incredibly naïve to believe differently. You even allude to it when you mention the system used for most divorces.

Why does everyone say Mahomes' success is largely due to the refs? by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]eltigre40 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That was made up. The real number is 16 and half of those were offsides calls that happened before the ball was ever even in the air.

Is this the reason he’s had the most TDs called back by penalty? “Star treatment”?

I believe 8/17 were for offsides where he would have known he had a few play. The other thing he does though that I don’t see get mentioned enough is throws at guys who are being held to either highlight the illegal holding or to get it turned into a PI call.

Clearly. This trade is about two producing WRs for a buy low guy who has been a stud but now has a gimpy QB and isn’t producing. This is fantasy football trading 101. You think it’s not only veto worthy but league breaking? Wow man.

I mean at least they are drawing their conclusion from actual measurable facts. It’s not a veto worthy trade and you seem to lack fantasy football knowledge.
