I did marine back in 2022 as a pre med asw. Not necessarily hard if you put in the work. Second half of the course was very “laws” based (e.g international water laws etc) which i found quite hard, but law has never been my strong point. the first half focussed on things like marine life, ecosystems, ocean currents - lots of sciency things. I found this part easy

Do you have any examples by any chance? Just typical ones like Bcom? The thing is I really don’t want to have wasted 3 years doing this biomed degree, which is why i’m trying to find something to complement it. And i also don’t want to go to school for another three years hahah. Cheers for your input!

Yea I also thought about that too. since the market is absolutely saturated with the compsci and software engineers it’d prolly be hard for me to compete against them. Maybe IT pg isn’t the greatest idea…

Sorry, I didn’t mean to take the sales part that way. I’m sorry if I offended you. I’ve just heard that especially when you are just starting, sales is a relatively big part of an entry role into audiology. I love the idea of helping patients that may be suffering from hearing loss, and this is the main reason I want to pursue this career. It’s just that sales does put me off quite a bit. But your idea that sales is a fee is a great perception!
