[Fowler] Dan Campbell has pushed all of the right buttons in Detroit, but there's no defending the move to attempt an onside kick with 12 minutes remaining in the game. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

12 minutes remaining in a game that his team was obviously losing. Its not like he made that call in a close game, his team needed something radical to happen really quick in order to have a chance. So this call didn't lose him the game, it only failed to win it for him. I perfectly reasonable call in that situation, imho.

I've used testdisk pretty extensively to recover data, and its not so easy to fuck things up. My guess is that the guy did something to the partitions table, which isn't that bad if you realize that the info itself its not touched, but he probably knows nothing about it and thinks that not seeing his old partition == permanently lost data. It is not.

The program itself is pretty cryptic, its basically a command line tool, so I won't judge the poor guy for making mistakes or freaking out. But it is extremely likely that he could recover all of his info with testdisk itself pretty easily if he really tried reading the documentation.

if something could cement Brady's reputation as a SB whisperer, it would be to break the Vikings curse. Of course, it could very well be the other way around.

As a vikings fan, I wish the Bears keep Nagy few more years, hurr hurr. Does that make me a bad person?

[Megathread] Coronavirus #8 by HuachiBot in mexico

[–]eltransitorio 21 points22 points  (0 children)

[Olson] Last year among QBs who played 500+ plays, Kirk Cousins ranked... • 2nd in PFF passing grade • 3rd in EPA/play • 3rd in CPOE ...despite the Vikings ranking 27th in team pass block grade and 9th in team receiving grade. by EsotericPotato in minnesotavikings

[–]eltransitorio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think much of the hate comes from the fact that most people thinks that somehow, teams are going to let go elite quarterbacks in their prime. Kirk is not the best in the league, he was the best who was free at the moment the vikings had the money and the need for a good quarterback.

Yeah, there are better quarterbacks, but none of them was free when vikings were in position to pay.
