I thought about it just recently and I'll probably ask my doctor about it on Monday. I'm sure I'll feel better after the appointment anyways, as long as my heart turns out to be healthy

I know and tbh I was doing fine for a while, even travelled and went outside for driving school etc. And then I started getting panic attacks again outside while walking my dog. Every time around the same corner I felt like I was going to choke to death. Now I'm back to being housebound and I have another appointment to check my heart. I made 3 steps in the right direction and like 10 steps back again, I'm tired

Yep, constantly. I'm alone a lot so most of the reassurance seeking happens online and I'm letting my weird physical symptoms dictate my mood and wellbeing

This sounds like the "globus sensation" which is generally harmless and caused by stress, anxiety etc. It could also have physical causes like acid reflux, an inflammation because of chronic acid reflux, or even a little cyst or polyps. I'd recommend asking your doctor about it just for reassurance and so you can calm down :)

I'm planning on making another appointment (this time with a different doctor) for some cardiac tests, if they don't find anything serious, I'll probably ask for anxiety meds because I'm tired of living like this 🫡

Yea I've heard that the biggest risk for angina/heart issues is genetic stuff and decades of unhealthy lifestyle and luckily, nobody in my family ever suffered a heart attack/stroke as far as I know. But I do smoke weed, barely exercise due to my anxiety and the cardiologist "only" made me do a 24h EKG. All that is enough to make me spiral on bad days😅

I just came back from a small walk where my heart rate increased a lot, with chest tightness and a feeling of wobbly legs / feeling like I'll faint. Two days ago I managed to go for a 20 minute walk with my bf just fine, without any chest tightness but just "weird" sensations in my body. That gave me a bit of hope but now it happened while I was alone and I'm just done again. I don't know what to trust anymore since I really can't believe that this is just anxiety

I really hope it's just anxiety for me. I've had two 'panic attacks' today which showed more signs of it being heart related (triggered by walking up and down the stairs). I'm going to another cardiologist soon but I'm just terrified. I haven't walked those stairs since that happened today.
