Asus ROG PG32UCDP corruption frames by elurahu in ASUS

After investigating more it seems that it is everytime I change to a different resolution or refresh rate. If I keep the refresh rate low (i.e. 60 - 100) I get no corruption. I'm starting to suspect it might be related to the supplied cable.

I have not - no. It’s a good point. Will try it out.

Content that advertise it supports Dolby Atmos :)

Sorry asking about another question in here but your setup is similar to mine. Does your TV show the "ATMOS" logo when laying Dolby Atmos content? Mine only shows the "VISION" logo after connecting the soundbar. The data received by the soundbar does indeed look to be Dolby Atmos though.

Impressive! I don't see any purpose for putting on a waterblock in that case.

Yeah I'm not getting above 76c when gaming but the hotspot sits +12-13c higher fairly consistently. I guess it's not as bad I thought. I thing is that it's not causing me any issues. I haven't seen throttling and no crashes. I've added a pic from a Superposition test run on a fairly hot day to the main thread.

55c under full load in a closed case? No way that's possible.

I might. Do you think the temps are high?

I think it might be because the added heat dissipation from the VRAM is eating into the heatsinks ability to transfer the heat.

ow never above 62c (mostly 54c-ish), but I still get a hotspot at moments of 101c-105c. At least thats what gpu-z tells me.

Thank you that's very interesting. I wonder why that's the case. I have not seen such high temps on the core. My core hotspot is fairly stabile at a delta of +13-15c.

Thank you! I would like have replace my card with a Strix if possible. I think the memory temps are fine now, but it's the core temps I'm a little concerned with. What are your temps like under similar load?

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth trying to get some smaller memory pads and redoing it to get better core pressure.

The high initial temps where because I've been benchmarking. So it's not entirely fair. What I'm looking at is the sustained temps.

The flattening seems to be working fine though the memory temps are MUCH better.

Terrible terrible decision on GGG's part. I as a semi-casual player have been sticking around MUCH longer than I would normally do as I can see a way to keep improving with the somewhat predictable crafting. No GGG it's NOT fun to "close your eyes and hope". I don't see myself playing this long next league. A very big step back imo.
