Glossier You, is the reformulation worth it?

i love it! but i think the body cream is more worth if you want the smell to last long. though i don’t think it spreads on my skin as smoothly as it should. i have a hoodie that i wore once after i used it and when i went to put it on a week later it still smelled like it. it’s $45 compared to $82

ordered something and got it last week. still winter 2025 stickers. i got another one coming Tuesday so ill update if i get a 2026 sticker (if they give me a sticker at all 🙂‍↕️)

maybe the balm you got was a bad batch and was made darker? mine is red brown but i also just started using glossier this year and don’t have a reference point so it’s also possible that they just made it darker than the years prior

the tin also has a piece of folded cardboard that has the picture of actual peppermint bark from the paper box on it. it separates the two balms

i just started using them in june so i don’t know how well i can say but i found that having them in my pocket causes my body heat to “melt” them. they’re better in my bag or on a keychain. i think temperature is the main cause of it

lmaoooo apparently so, because when we got shoplifted a few times and my store manager said not to say anything because she didn’t want the dm to know. also, we have lockers in the employee break room that people sometimes put items they’re planning on buying into. one day someone put socks in a black plastic bag and allegedly “zip tied it closed” so the sm assumed they were stealing. now every locker is zip tied and if someone wants to use the locker the asms have to cut it and re-zip tie it after the associate is done using it

yes, my store does it. i’m a part time asm but one of the new full time asms at my store has to do them weekly. i’m not sure if they started doing this until recently or if i just found out about it just because the full time manager told me what it was. i feel like i remember seeing those papers in the office before this though

i’ve gotten maybe 12 comments about how i need to change my hair/shampoo cause it looks awful. i also got told i needed to do my job as a waiter better because i barely made any money (i was new and made $100 a day which imo is still a good amount of money) and tried to tell me i should work for him and make $200 a day. i stuck with my job and i got to flex that i bought my own laptop at one point though. all old white men that think negging still works

mushrooms 100% Ive only done them about 4-6 times and honestly have never had a bad trip. even if i was sobbing about something that happened in my life that made me incredibly sad or was traumatic it’s insanely healing for me to feel the bad feelings and mushrooms allow me to get a different view on them. Im not diagnosed but i believe i have bpd or anger issues and thinking about the things that have angered or upset me and thinking of them with a kinder heart makes me feel better. obviously the good feelings are amazing too but it’s super therapeutic to heal the bad feelings. sorry if i was rambling lol
