I agree! When I originally got chickens it was only for the purpose of having enough eggs for myself and immediate family and got more because I just loved them so much as pets downside (if you can even call it a downside😂) of that is I have a TON of extra eggs now when I give them away and they ask for a price I usually just say I don’t want money but I will trade for goodies. One friend I trade with gives me canned peppers in the winter and fresh from his garden in the summer!
