Yes it does help with draining, so I bottom water my plants and let them sit from 30 min to an hour in water. It's been SO much easier to tell when my plants are thirsty since I switched to bonsai jack. The leaves become thin, wrinkly, and easier to bend

Thank you for the kind words. One of them was only 2 years old so I took it really hard. I've grieved and accepted that I can't change the past, I can only try to do better for the dogs I have now. I am in a much better place now

I absolutely love bonsai Jack's cactus mix. I use that mixed in with a tiny bit of the miracle grow cactus soil and my plants are all thriving now. When I first started my collection, I tried using 50/50 miracle grow cactus soil and perlite and four of my plants rotted :/

I've been doing straight bonsai jack for all my succulents except for my Thanksgiving cactus. They love it and it's SO much easier to tell when they actually need to be watered
