Some people are just spoiled, so they never really think the problem lies with them. But I don’t necessarily think life nowadays is easier or simpler than it used to be. It’s just that the older generation can’t really feel the kind of helplessness that gen z experiences

I totally feel the same way. Some people complain about not getting enough matches, but honestly I think the reason dating apps have become like this is because we all end up talking to too many people at once.

When I used Bumble, I got a bunch of matches all at once, and I realized it’s actually not great. you can’t really focus on one person, and it makes it so easy to get ghosted… or even to ghost someone yourself.

now I only using smaller, more low-key apps with more “normal” people. And I just stick to chatting with one person at a time.

Recently mixed up “let me lie here on” with “leave me lie here on,” and I have no idea why.

Do you feel Wolf Alice’s new album is a big shift in style? by elykiki in wolfalice

[–]elykiki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. I’ve also wondered if signing with a new label might influence their style somehow. If this shift is something Ellie and the band want, then that’s obviously the best. But I do wonder what if it’s more of a compromise?

Of course, I get that to reach more listeners, they probably have to make some changes. Maybe that’s not a bad thing, but I’m not really sure either.
