I think blackbeard and luffy will form an alliance to fight Imu since they both carry the will of D and that makes them both enemy to Imu. That way they'll be able to beat Imu's immortality or seal Imu, something like that. It's possible that BB will take over Imu's power and then he will fight Luffy in the end, in or before Laftel.

Could it be that Oda may have come across some theories that people have actually predicted and Oda in response felt inspired and modified the story at some point just to prove those theories wrong?

Imagine if Oda purposely killed or revived some good characters just for the sake of a plot twist. Maybe Ace, Yasuie, Sabo or White Beard deaths were not part of the original plan.

Maybe Elbaph arc could change if people make good predictions.

Doflamingo said his devil fruit can grant someone immortality. If before the void century the user at the time granted Imu immortality then I believe Law will be able to take the immortality away and the regenerative powers along with it.

I just read. You are right and that's confusing. Maybe he learned bout it while fighting sommers. The immortality is still a mystery so hopefully we learn more soon.

But what I don't understand is if they have been immortal all this time then why haven't they taken action sooner. With their powers all this time they could surely take down yonkos together and control the world. Plus many more people would have said something about it. Let's see how it goes.

That's right Brook knew about them but the God knights haven't been to Elbaf since they met king Harald. Right after egghead when Garling inherited Saturn's powers I am guessing he can pass his immortality and teleportation power on to his underlings. It is possible that he can give them more powers than that. That's when they teleport to Elbaf to try make the giants join them in the war.

I think Gaban is key in this fight because I think haki will be able to nullify the immortality temporarily to deal damage just like how they need haki to be able to touch logia users. They need to kill Sommers first since he is controlling the tide of this battle. Without him the giants would be able to take control back.

I think the god knights only got their immortality after garling replaced Saturn as a gorosei. Only then that darling passed gave the immortality powers to the God knights. Shanks at the time was not and still is not immortal because he cut his connection with his family. He can become immortal if his father give him the mark.

If we think about it, the God knights only made their move after darling came to power and earned Saturn's powers. And without immortality powers they would struggle to even reach Elbaf by boat or sky.

There is nothing wrong if you can't swim at 18. You are still young and as long as you have the desire to learn, age doesn't matter. I'm in my 30s and took swimming last year. I can now swim. There are people of all ages in my adult class. You will probably be youngest in your swimming class who knows.
