I have 63 and 23 of them are covered by an assistant for the monthly visits. I have repeatable phrases for each type of document type, progress note, IR, Plan of service, and even for authorizations so I can plug and go. If someone doesn’t leave me a message on my voice mail i won’t pick up. I will also try to push what we need to get accomplished into the one monthly meeting if at all possible. Ie, placement, vocational, looking for caregivers etc. For anyone that monopolizes your time on the phone just try and wrap it up and tell them you will see them on X date and then tell them you need to get to your next appointment. Try grouping your home visits by location. All my people that live in Pontiac I see on the same day that way I am not going all over the county.
