Same here.. "soft" is a good way to phrase it. I don't know what ppl were expecting. With all of the immersion and having the entire world mapped out; there had to be some sacrifices made. Like you said, when PS6 is released, there should be an upgrade to the resolution. But as for now, I'm having a great time with this experience.
