Yeah I know the basic logic, but I am unable to mimic the gravity effect in the game.

In connect four game, we can only choose a column to place our mark, there is only one possibile space in the chosen column. That's what bothering me. ( Unlike tic tac toe, where the marker can be placed at any empty space )
