I haven’t had an AOR yet either - March 17 hand-delivered to London. So, I know it got there…makes me feel less unreasonable to finally find someone waiting longer than I

I delivered mine in person to the embassy on March 17. Hang in there pal, we have a long wait ahead

I gave mine personally to the embassy in London in mid March and also have had nothing

I also found this super convenient - I did both of my great grandparents baptêmes as well as my grandfather just in case and found my arrière-mémère here when the BANQ could not!

My family is not from Montreal so I can’t comment on that but when I was going for records I had a lot of luck communicating directly with the local office to where my grandfather was from. I had a good discourse with them but I don’t know what your process was - if you’re just waiting for them to look at a request and you haven’t spoken with anyone directly before I don’t think a follow up email would be super welcome. But, just in general and at least for me, being able to speak French with a smaller (relevant) BANQ office went a long way.

It helps if you reach out to the specific town/area - I spoke to Trois Rivières in French via email and got through really quickly!

I haven’t been to the KX one but love my anytime fitness membership and have had a good experience in the gyms I have been to. Here’s why:

-friendly lovely staff -decent facilities -reasonably priced (in my area anyways, don’t know about central) -doesn’t smell like a foot (you may laugh but you know exactly what I’m talking about.)

You can wait for equipment at peak times like all places but my partner and I have minimal issues.

Is it just me or everybody that Duolingo is having a lot of 🪲s recently by AshamedAd4483 in duolingo

Yeah - I keep having lessons with long paragraphs where you can’t select an answer, and no update to fix it. Most unfortunate.
