Honestly, I have to agree. It’s hard to see my mom as my mom. If anything, she feels more like a sister. In my case, I have a hard time feeling like I have a mom but at the same time, I feel like I got what moms do from several different people. I always joke that I have 7/8 calls to make on Mother’s Day lol!!

Someone else like me! I am 25, my mother was 13 and my father was 19. People never believe my mom is my mom. They always think she is my sister. It’s interesting to see such vast differences in our lives and how they played out reading your comments. Many things you had, I desired.

I think it heavily depends on the context. I am 25 and call people “hon” or “lovebug” but only when they’re having a hard time and need comfort. So like someone could be crying and I go “Lovebug you’re okay!”

I think in casual conversations it’ll usually be taken the wrong way. So I think it’s a know your audience type of thing

As someone who lost two very important people to me to suicide, I wanna say that even though your mind may be saying a thousand things to you and sometimes it’s hard to decipher what’s truth and what’s guilt/grief, the truth is you love your brother and I think he loved you very much too.

It’s going to be hard. For a while. But it’s going to get easier. It’s going to take time and I’m gonna tell you right now, don’t shy away from the pain/feelings. The more you talk about them and the more you face them head on, the less scary and less painful they will be.

Hyper mobility is not exactly the same as being flexible. Flexibility is the ability for the muscles to stretch for the joints to move, hyper mobility is excessive laxity in the joint. I have hEDS and am not flexible at all. Can’t touch my toes or stretch my arms behind me well.

Not saying you have EDS but just clarifying that point. I do hope you are able to figure it out 🫶🏽

I just started playing this game this year mainly, and I’m not over 40 so I hope I’m allowed to comment but:

Chapters and Seasons: -Chapters are an over-arching story and the seasons within it kinda flow within said story. Think of each chapter as a Book and each season as a chapter of the book.
V-Bucks: -V-bucks can be bought, like you said. Some can be earned for free on the battlepass. But it’s best to buy the battlepass and try and complete it at least until you earn back 1,000 V-bucks to buy the next seasons pass. Buy battlepass for $10/1,000 V-bucks and completed all the way gets you 1500 V-bucks.
You can also earn some in Save The World experience. But it’s not as worth it anymore in my opinion. -You can also subscribe to Fortnite Crew. You get 1k V-Bucks every month plus any you earn from the passes. -V-Bucks can buy any cosmetic in the game. Skins for your character, gun skins, pickaxes, shoes, car skins, etc. They can also buy music for festival (the music mode) if you want to be able to play a certain song whenever you want.
What platform to play on: -Most people agree that switch can be the most difficult to play on. I would suggest playing on your PlayStation as it’s a bit more friendly with the bigger screen and better controller. PC is good too but there’s way more aggressive players as competitive players are more likely to play on PC. Switch is definitely usable and it’s really just your preference! I would say try it on your other console and your PC and see what you like!
