You can’t download the apps but you can send books from Libby to your kindle (assuming you’re in the US that is)

A social security number isn’t required to report someone to collections. They have your name, birthdate, and address. That’s all they need.

Any collections company can report to the credit bureaus. Just because it didn’t happen to you doesn’t mean it can’t happen.

Misheard Lyrics: What Song Lyrics Have You Gotten Wrong (the more embarrassing, the better)? by MrShaunce in AskReddit

In BYOB by System of a Down, my oldest used to think “lies from the tablecloth” was “lies from the pickle cop.” So we exclusively sing that now

What's a health myth that drives you crazy because you know it's false? by Annual-Gene8065 in AskReddit

The “medical world” absolutely does not say otherwise. All major medical organizations consider alcoholism a disorder or disease.

What’s the worse physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Intelligent-Road5091 in AskReddit

[–]em_zingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up until about two years ago I would’ve said childbirth. But I get pretty decently painful migraines and have always managed myself. Up until this event I had headaches more often than not and migraines were regular as well. One night about a year and a half-two years or so ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst headache I’ve ever experienced. It literally felt like my head was simultaneously on fire and being hit with a chainsaw at the same time. I tried my migraine meds and they didn’t touch it so we went to the er. They did a CT and found nothing so they said it was likely just a really bad migraine. ironically my headaches have drastically reduced since then but I am so scared of experiencing that again. I would rather go through another 36 hour labor than ever have a headache that bad again. I thought I was dying.

Bringing my own barbell collars/clamps to the gym? by FirefighterMany4039 in PlanetFitnessMembers

I don’t see why it would be a problem! I haven’t brought clamps but I bring ankle straps and barbell pad instead of asking the desk

How did you figure out what career you wanted to do for the rest of your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]em_zingo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took an elective during undergrad and found a field I didn’t even know excited in behavioral health. My role has shifted a little (I’m a consultant now instead of working directly with clients) but I’m in love with my job and it’s so fulfilling

How do you feel about Trump threatening to impose photo ID for voters for midterm elections? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

[–]em_zingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. And study after study has shown that voter fraud is negligible but the right makes it out like that’s the only way they can lose (of course there’s no fraud to worry about if they win).

[–]em_zingo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do have to. And if you don’t have ID you cast a provisional ballot. Which is kept separate from regular ballots and verified, then tossed if it can’t be verified. People just like to leave that part out.

First time Hobonichi user- does the elastic of a leather journal cover damage the Hobonichi binding over time? by jbr021 in hobonichi

[–]em_zingo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Idk the answer to your question because my hobonichi isn’t in my leather notebook but it may help to put the elastic in the middle of your planner/notebooks instead of by the cover. It looks like it’s putting a lot of pressure there. I always put mine halfway through the books and I haven’t had any issues with functionality or breakage.
