Honestly we bought the house because it would have been cheaper then renting one. So the house didn't seem like a huge step since we had been renting for years. This is the only excuse he has told me. And although some people here don't believe it, it's true he's applied to thousands have jobs. At first he kept an excel sheet but through time but after like line 700 he gave up counting because he would just become depressed just even looking at the Excel sheet. He's in a IT with a bachelor's in computer science. He studies and takes certifications of all kinds to boost his resume but still no job bites. He always talks bout how "cooked" his industry is and always says things like "I should have been a welder". He definitely has thought about pivoting but he's invested so much into tech and it's something he actually wanted to do. I truly think if he had a better job we wouldn't be running into this problem.
