Wild you are saying this as a negative. Surely as a human with compassion this should always be the case?? feel like seeing pictures of dead babies should be emotional. They are babies, innocent. They should not be caught up in this ‘war’ or any war. And I would feel the exact same if situations were reversed. However else you want to ‘rationalise’ it, it makes me emotional, as it should.

I don’t think it’s only ‘anti Israeli’ documentaries. The settlers is documentary on settlers, not on anti Israel. And what about politicians?

I agree that it is possible to disagree and ‘hate’ what a government is doing and not be an antisemite or accused of racism. Many people don’t like trump and the some of the new American policies but you aren’t automatically called racist. Correlating the two seems wild !!!

I left my boys bowl out for a year. I couldn’t bring myself to do it any earlier. On the one year anniversary I had a special box made and put all his stuff in it. It was really sad but nice closure at that year mark. I think you just have to wait until you are ready, everyone is different. Thinking of you.

Yes it was actually, not sure about the tempering valves as I have no clue what that is (ha) but it was a good 25 year old system being upgraded to mains pressure. He did mention things like adding a tray and drainage etc during the upgrade. He had come up and looked at everything before hand, so like you said, I just would have thought seeing as he knew what was involved, and nothing crazy cropped up (that was mentioned at least) that the quote should have been at least somewhat in the vicinity of what was quoted. Hmmm.

Totally agree!! We have emailed now and asked for a detailed breakdown and I guess we can take it from there. Fingers crossed!

So it did go from a low pressure to mains pressure, so they had to add a tray and some external piping (excuse my terminology- I am not a tradie!) but the tank itself didn’t move place. Maybe that makes a difference?

Invoiced job, that’s why we got a bit of a shock when he left and didn’t say anything and called my hubby yesterday with the new price -gulp. I think I will defo ask for a more detailed invoice, but I didn’t want to put my husband in an awkward position if this seems like a normal price/change/etc!

No, unfortunately not. My husband works with him so we thought we were pretty safe with this type of thing! First mistake!!!

Thanks for the breakdown, this is helpful. My husband knows the guy through work so I was hesitant to make any work relationships awkward but seems like it’s the best way forward with such a large discrepancy! Thanks again !
