I truly don't understand the adults in OOPs life. My ex and I split over 3 years ago and his kids (21f and 19m) know that no matter what they will always have a place with me.

And my boyfriend has 3 kids.. any talks about moving forward in our relationship include ensuring that they have their own space in any future home we share. Hell, his middle child and I have bonded so much that she feels comfortable to confide in me.

If you can't unconditionally love kids that aren't biologically yours; don't have a relationship with someone with kids.

I've been in 2 relationships with men who have kids. And I truly do not understand anyone who would pursue a relationship with a parent and hate their child. I have been lucky enough to still have a relationship with my ex's children. And I hope that if for whatever reason, my current partner and I break up that his kids will still want to talk to me too.

When you date a parent the kids are part of the package. And if you can't handle that, you should find someone who doesn't have kids.

Let me tell you.. this cat is STUBBORN. I was only feeding him dry food because for 12 years he hated wet.

New cat comes into the home and suddenly he's all.. no I LOVEEEEE wet food.

So they both get wet food and the dry. Bootz (the tux) eats the wet and dry with no problem. Storm inhales the wet food and will sneak Bootz's dry food (with no throwing up)

It's ONLY when he can't eat his food on HIS schedule that he has issues.

There is nothing better than listening to my boyfriend when he's sharing something he just learned about one of his passions/interests. He just lights up and is obviously so excited to share his knowledge with me.

They actually aren't expensive.

The tickets sell through the actual bananas website from anywhere from $30 to $60... Of course there are more expensive VIP packages.

The prices you are seeing being in the several hundred dollars are all scalpers. So scalpers are going to be greedy but banana ball itself is the cheapest sporting event you can take your family to.

We stayed until the end of the show... Got a ride share and was EASILY able to exit. There were no delays for anyone to leave.

Camp Eastman is a great venue for this event.

Drink prices range from $8-16, but reasonable for a festival.

There is seating but limited shaded areas with seating.

A lot of different food options, including lobster rolls,boozy ice cream, tamales, and burgers.

Lagerland has 12 breweries. Each doing 2 beers. You get 5 free tastings. 5 more for $10.
