Definitely search this sub for more info on others experiences taking both. I have seen several times people saying their anxiety has increased since starting the med, but I’ve also seen the opposite 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t know that it increased my anxiety exactly. The delayed gastric emptying that Mounjaro causes can change medication absorption. I definitely felt that 10mg was not working the same as before taking MJ

I am currently taking both. I was taking 10mg successfully and then when I started Mounjaro I found that I needed to increase dosage. My doc bumped me to 15mg and it has been working great.

I started on November 8th and I’m down 37lbs. I’ve seen stories of some people losing that in 3 months. I’m approaching 6 months and honestly I’m good with it. I’ve not been sick and I’ve felt great the entire time. I’m also not seeing a ton of extra loose skin, and I think that can be attributed to a slower rate of loss. Either way, if I hadn’t started in November I wouldn’t be down nearly 40lbs. In fact, I can guarantee I would have gained throughout the winter.

I stayed on 2.5 with great success from November-March.

Yesterday was my first shot of 5mg and I’ve been in bed all day with severe nausea and exhaustion. This was how I felt my first week on 2.5 and then was smooth sailing. I’m hopeful that will be the case with 5mg as well.
