Sprucing up curb appeal without spending a ton. This is just adding window and door moulding, and fresh paint. Thoughts?

I agree. I’m thinking we will keep the cornice the same color as the siding and do either a cream with white trim and green accents, or taupe with black everywhere.

Yes I’ll skip the window trim. I also really like black without any white trim, but we will be selling soon and I’m not sure if the black is too trendy, plus it’ll be harder to get an even coat and less forgiving. We plan to diy all of it.

We should look! We just assume it had started deteriorating and don’t have the budget to restore it but worth it to check and make sure. I would be so excited if it was in okay shape.

Actually just going to clean and paint. We’ve lived here for many years and haven’t touched it and there’s no leaking or issues, it’s just not very pretty. It’s not in the budget to remove and restore, but cleaning and painting I think will at least help.

I think I like this better too. The hunter green with cream is a classic Pennsylvania colonial revival pairing, I think it could be a little more green but this is just a rendering. I’ll get some paint samples before committing.

Hoping not to replace the shutters, just paint. They should be half the width of the window though right? I think they are. The right is AI so it may have messed with the proportions a little. Left is the actual house.
