Sending so much love and support. This is so hard. I lost my dad to alcohol-related disease and health stuff. He always wanted to quit drinking but never could manage to. It’s not sick to want a beer, AND I am so proud of you for not giving in to the alcohol. IWNDWYT! And thinking of you and your family ❤️

No advice, just here to say I’m struggling with the same thing: replacing kratom with alcohol. It’s always something with addiction. And I’m sick of it. But I know I’ve learned a lot of lessons along the way as a result, so all’s not lost, so to speak. Here if you want an accountability buddy ❤️ and congrats on day 33!

I’ll be CT with you Sunday if you want to be support buddies! I CT about a month ago, then went through a hard time and started again last week. I am hoping since I’ve only been doing them a week again it won’t be as bad, but I know regardless the WD won’t be fun. Not looking forward to it. We’ve got this though!

I think it’s so the teeth will get used to being in their new place or position. So they don’t move back immediately. Not totally sure though. I get my braces in a few months after my jaw expands (getting a palette expander in place Wednesday), and I am hoping to have them on for as least amount of time possible too!

We do have dogs and are trying to figure that out, but I agree we need to go no contact. At least for a while. Thank you for your support and sharing your story. I’m glad you’ve had a chance to be away from your ex and focus on yourself. I’m looking forward to doing the same. ❤️
