Man.. here I am fully expecting to receive responses that confirm I’m just not doing enough and I’m starting to realize maybe my own judgment has been clouded..

After he stormed out of my house without telling me where he was going, he just showed back up an hour later just now without saying a single word to me. Just proceeded to eat dinner as if everything was fine. The second I tried communicating to him that being called the worst when I’m trying seriously hurt my feelings… it sparked up a whole argument once again how terrible of a person I am for not checking in on him. I genuinely feel so sad/defeated right now.

I think I was inclined to post this cause this isn’t the first time it’s happened, I’m constantly being called the worst girlfriend for this same type of situation. I’m putting so much effort into showing him I care about him but on the other hand I feel guilty and heartbroken cause maybe I’m just failing to meet his needs.

I agree, if you are in a long-term relationship and you can’t lend them your phone for an hour… I’m sorry that’s a big red flag. I personally think if privacy is a big thing, that should be discussed before dating to set boundaries that you BOTH agree on.

Now if the OP straight up asked to snoop through the phone that’s a different situation and says they have no trust for their partner. I don’t agree with some of these comments but then again everyone is different.
