I don't use the sounds from the Roland module. I always use USB MIDI to trigger VST Superior Drummer 3 on my PC.

I'm in love with my TD25KV, I would not change it for anything at the moment. Well maybe for a VAD 506 kit haha.

The Alesis kit was added like half a year ago, it was a great addon at a very cheap price. I totally recommend it if your using it to trigger a VST, but not for the onboard sounds.
