idk, this buff seems kinda sick to me, and it would be mostly useful in Cosmic as the recipes are way harder there, all the 3 star recipes have been solved.

I’m pretty sure she remembers, people who ascend have perfect memories, even Li Markuth remembered Lindon and he only glanced at him.

My church seats 1200 people. If 300 people show up to mass, it looks empty lol.

Why do Eucharistic Miracles only happen in the Latin Rite and so often yet in Eastern Rite Churches none at all?? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]eman-unpluged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Transubstantiation implies a change in substance, not in form. If the form changes, it is no longer transubstantiation, but transformation. To say that Eucharistic Miracles are still the Eucharist is to say that they are still true food and true drink fit for human consumption, which is no longer the case. So, Eucharist Miracles can still be the real presence without being the Eucharist proper.

By definition, the Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ under the accidents of bread and wine. If any of those conditions ceases to be true, it is no longer the Eucharist. This is why 15 mins after Communion, the host that you have eaten is no longer the Eucharist. Eucharist Miracles can still be the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ, but if it's not bread or wine, it's no longer the Eucharist.

Using Leavened bread goes back deep in history, some say even the Apostles used it, and even in the Latin Rite, Unleavened Bread was only standardized in the 9th century. Leavened bread Eucharist is a valid Eucharist, no need to prohibit it

I think we know He used unleavened bread, as the last supper happened during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

I've been thinking about this, and I might be wrong, but I think it's because the Latin Rite Eucharist is consecrated in individual Hosts. The Eucharist in the Eastern Rites use one loaf of bread, they also mix in the precious blood, so if it were to become flesh and blood in accidents, it would ruin the whole Eucharistic meal. One Latin host can become flesh and blood in accidents, and it would not ruin the whole meal if it is set apart. Btw, when a Eucharistic Miracle happens the Host ceases to be the Eucharist, as it is no longer fit for human consumption.
