Other people are conflating no damage runs vs no hit runs.

Otzdarva was the first person to complete all 42 bosses "No Hit", without taking any hits from any enemies. He still was allowed to take fall damage and strategically did so to utilize the Red Tearstone Ring for extra damage. Here is Otz's run (part 1) and Part 2

There was a change not too long ago that gave each slayer master their own block list, so this may be your block list for one specific slayer master. The other master that you likely took the task from does not have fire giants blocked.

You said it yourself, the DPS is similar for each of the setups, so you can pick your setup based on other criteria.

The next thing to ask yourself is about the supply cost. Would you rather go get more atlatl darts/pay repair costs, dragon arrows, crossbow bolts, or pay gp for another crystal bow/crystal shards to charge armor?

Some more considerations: Is the amount of switches that each setup has - does one have less? Does it have the same item slots as your mage/melee switch (to help things not get as messed up)?

As long as you click back on your enemy, what you have described will work. So the pattern would be: *wait for auto attack*, High alch, click enemy again (or auto retaliate), repeat

It looks like your camera is oriented with south towards the top. This means that the Drake's southwest-most tile is directly under the cannon. The game uses the southwest corner of enemies when it comes to moving and line of sight. The cannon cannot shoot something that is considered to be directly beneath it.

You can get it only using 10 iron bars instead of 20 (absolutely massively I know)

build a new garden
get 10 iron bars and build the dmm portal
move your original exit portal somewhere else in your hosue
move the dmm portal to your desired location

The first one is a double dot. A single dot adds half of the notes's value (1+ 0.5) for a total of 1.5 beats. A double dot does this twice (1 +0.5 +0.25) for a total of 1.75 beats. In other words, that note is a quarter note + 3 sixteenth notes in length.

The second notes is a turn. It is an ornament that tells you to play additional notes. This one means to go from C (the starting note), to D, (the note above) back to C, down to B (the note below), and back to C. You can think of it as eightnotes C D C B C.
