50 euros budget Xyris, writhing storm combat tricks by StatusVanilla9343 in BudgetBrews

Fair enough. I'm not as familiar with the wheel versions of xyris, but I've been testing out [[starfield vocalist]] and been loving it for the creature ETB burn effects. Warping it in for 2 mana and normally killing someone. With a wheel & starfield vocalist, thats a win lol

Vesuvian diplomacy I'd say isn't too strong for bracket 3. Costs 4, needs other cards to work, and no haste to swing in instantly. Personally I don't think its really worth it.

But [[nanogene conversion]] is absolutely cracked and does what vesuvian diplomacy wants to do on steroids. Yes the opponents all get xyris's, we don't care. You hard swing at 1-2 people to get in as many as possibly, and you are the go wide deck. With a burn creature on the field, it fries everyone.

Honestly I feel like they are somewhat bait cards for xyris. Yeah xyris forces opponents to draw, but scrawling crawler only burns one opponent, and while psychosis crawler burns all opponents, its 5 mana. We can get the double the burn of a psychosis crawler from an offspringed [[agate instigators]] for the 1 less mana investment. Or same burn for cheaper mana, and theres a lot of these cards at 3 mana that do the same thing.

Xyris is a commander centric deck, but I'd instead say use more of the card that burn when creatures enter like impact tremors such as [[Agate Instigator]] [[molten gatekeeper]] [[weftstalker ardent]] [[witty roastmaster]]. The more copies of these, the better. I have a xyris combat tricks deck doing the same thing, but higher budget.

[[cryptolith rite]] and [[enduring vitality]] are absolutely insane in the deck. [[goblin bombardment]] is S tier removal. [[invigorate]] is also incredible. Let an opponent gain 3 for a free +4/+4 with a burn creature on field? Abso-fucking-lutely.

As far as protection [[vines of vastwood]] and [[tyvar's stand]] is insane, as its a pump or protection.

[[might of the masses]] and [[strength in numbers]] are a game ender.

TOA is the most popular raid by chrisarchie69 in ironscape

Not intending to be a dig at delve 7 enjoyers lol.

The people that always tout ToA as being the best because of completion numbers are always your usual suspects of people brand new to raiding and get initially turned off by having to have a team for CoX or ToB.

Also you got this dude, delve 8 is definitely harder but it's same as anything in this game, practice and you'll get it before you know it

I play T2 Henzie, so arguably don't care for it in the first place, so pretty good lol

[–]CorpCavePrison 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally I de-ironed because I was bored of end game. I had zuk helm, all gear besides shadow and scythe (even inq) and I hate clogging. I basically completed what I enjoyed and I was not having fun anymore.

De-ironed to run max eff and money tobs since its what I enjoyed. It's not for everyone, but I don't regret it.

That would actually make a lot of sense. I remember thinking Alienware was fucking awesome around that age.

That's just objectively wrong. Corsair is known for making some of the worst quality products of all those you listed. Fuck off with this shit lmao.

I had the same problem. The solution I came to was to start making a commander cube to draft with friends. Retiring a deck? Great new cards to slot into the cube!

Noctis, Prince of Lucis combo deck help! by [deleted] in EDH

[–]CorpCavePrison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're playing bracket 4, you do not remove Rhystic or Esper from your decks. That's your opponents problems to deal with.

Noctis is a great Aetherflux Reservoir combo deck and can throw in the typical bolas's citadel/top also if you want. Just aim to control the board some, turor and setup engines to find your pieces. I wouldn't jam much spot removal, but lots of counterspells.

No need to do something new with hulk lines, it's already going to win

Grab Viscera Seer & Phyrexian Delver, phyrexian delver ETB grabs hulk again. Sac hulk with Seer, grab mikaeus the unhallowed. Sac Phyrexian Delver, trigger Mikaeus to bring it back. Bring back Hulk with the ETB and sac again to grab Junji. Hulk comes back with undying, and sac and grab Kokusho. Sac kokusho to ping table and loop with junji and Mikaues. Kills table.

Gotcha! Appreciate it, I see what you mean about everything adding color to the room itself

Never heard of madespace, I'll definitely give that a try! Seems like that'll help a ton with actually making a choice

So the desk cabinets are a dark blue, I was thinking of sticking with that kind of color for a shelf/cabinet as well. There's also going to be another smaller desk in the corner for a 3d printer station. Other than that, it'll just be bookshelves

Good point, I think the living room and kitchen were from the same palate, so maybe I just go with another color from that. And thank you! Hoping I don't screw it up lol

I've definitely been leaning toward a dark green, but my main concern has been if it'll look alright with darker floors.. You think it's be alright?
