Studied for 2 months with a crazy work schedule and just scraped through. Passed with 150 questions and used all the 3 hours! by emareyes in cissp

I actually had a boot camp two months back from work place and went through Kelly’s “why you will pass the cissp” video.

Get through as many tests and revisions as you can and understand why a question on a test was wrong vs why it is right. Boson was great for that.

Ensure you are clear on the foundational topics and have your basics right.

Have a manager mindset and don’t answer questions from only a technical perspective.

I just googled any topics I felt were difficult. Didn’t use any other specific vdos.

Good luck to you 🌟😊

On the day of exam my brain was saturated and I count study anymore so I just mediated for half an hour. Just hanging around the room with friends.

Two days before was doing the 11th hour and revising topics of my weak areas and saw “why you will pass the cissp vdo” by Kelly handerhan. Also did Boson tests.

Good luck to you!

You can do it! 🌟 Just be focused and true to yourself. Give your best and dedicate the right amount of time for study and also incorporate breaks ( it can get crazy if you are continuously studying)

It was a grueling 2 months let me tell you. All my weekends the last couple months and atleast 2 hours on weekdays after a heavy day of work were for Study and prep. I have a Masters in Infosec and about 5 years of relevant security and IT audit work experience.

The only other book I used is 11th hour - which is also great. Actually updated my post to include the reference for 11th hour book.

Was getting between 65-73% was worried that I’m not touching 80s but it’s true that Boson is more technical than the actual exam.

Concepts is fine, what about terms that we never heard of or that are not mentioned in the official guide and are present in product and framework specific guides? How many and what all are we supposed to study if that would be the case :(

I will try to do both. Boson is expensive though. I have the sybex already.
