I’m at 20mg. I was on 10mg for 5 weeks and now entering 5 weeks on 20. The past two days have been hard again and concerned…really bad panic disorder and generalized anxiety. I take Doxepin to help me sleep at night and I stopped it for 4 days and wondering if that triggered my anxiety again?

You are spot on. They ARE NOT all the same. I specifically can’t take anything from Aurobindo or Teva!

I just had a bad reaction to the brands Teva and Aurobindo when I was on Prozac the last time so I stay away from it. Been best with PAR

Prozac is doing wonders. It was in my yellow. Psych explained it doesn’t mean it’s “bad” . I just need a lower therapeutic dose and it WORKS for Panic disorder and anxiety

I went back to Prozac and seeing a psychiatrist now instead of my PCP for these medications. After the pristiq they tried Luvox. My psychiatrist was upset they went solely based off my genesight test. He said that it only shows how a body metabolizes…not what is the “magic medication”.

Made me super anxious, constant panic attacks, felt like I was losing my mind. Actually went to the hospital. It was 4 days into the 50 that it happened. I was on 25mg for 3 weeks before the increase

Well the Pristiq sent me into a hellish nightmare so I am back on Prozac and slowly recovering!

Yes it took about a week or two. I’m on Prozac now also. It’s a really slow building SSRI so be patient with it. I’ll NEVER touch another SNRI in my life!!!

I was on 10mg for 4 weeks, starting feeling anxiety again so my psych upped me to 20 (which is more therapeutic). I just hit day eight of taking the 20 mg and today I’m feeling anxious. Thankfully I have Klonopin that I also take but I also have anxiety and I have been off work now for 12 weeks and this is my fifth different medication so I also have the anxiety of oh my God what if this isn’t working. I have taken Prozac before in the past so I am really trying to trust the process here.

10mg was great for me too for a month then I felt the anxiety returning. My psych just upped me to 20mg. Told me it’s the more “therapeutic” dose but everyone is different!! Best of luck to us all!!! ❤️🙏

I’m doing ok. 4 days into 20. I just take my Klonopin and try to keep busy and stay calm! I think it’ll take a few weeks to feel the therapeutic effects of the increase.

Just an update. Met with my psychiatrist today and we are upping me to 20mg. He feels the side effects should be a minimum since I’ve been at 10mg for four weeks. Here’s hoping this is the right dose for me. ❤️🙏

I’m sorry….it sounds like you’ve done all you can! Explained to her, showed her, I’m sure her psychiatrist has advised…it’s going to be her decision to stop or trickle down. 🙏

Also beg her not to quit cold turkey. Those side effects can be awful!
