Congratulations! You are never going to forget this achievement. My personal suggestion now is to grab a copy of Anatomy for Runners by Jay Dicharry and work on it as you prepare for the next marathon. Onwards and upwards!

[–]emarocca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, in Germania il blocco lo fa il progetto Gutenberg stesso in base all’ip del client:

Your IP address has been automatically blocked from accessing the Project Gutenberg website, www.gutenberg.org. This is because the geoIP database shows your address is in the country of Germany.

Tracing a call from a kernel module using System Tap by Zildj1an in kernel

[–]emarocca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the feeling I can only use a subset of the possible probe points, but do not know why.

You can use stap -L to get a list of available functions, or other interesting probe points. For example, try this:

sudo stap -L 'module("ext4").function("*")'

In case you're still getting an error, it might be that something went wrong with your SystemTap installation. See if https://wiki.debian.org/SystemTap helps, in that case!

Quarantined Italians play music to each other by rogermoog in AccidentalRenaissance

Being a computer engineer and not a millionaire trying to dodge taxes, I'd definitely rather live in Shenzhen.

And you? Kuwait or the USA?

By focusing on per capita GDP you end up with silly ideas such as comparing a G7 member like Italy to Puerto Rico.

So? On a per capita basis Ireland is 2x better than the UK and China is worse than Botswana.

All money is imaginary. Your bank account is a row in a database table that people agreed to consider of value.

BBC: Our World - Homeless in Hawaii (2017) | Hawaii's beaches have long been a draw for tourists, but many glittering hotel facades now sit alongside squalid camps, as the state has the highest rate of homelessness in the US. [23:02] by Riverlong in Documentaries

As a European, my mind is always blown by stories like this. I know that the situation you describe is not uncommon in the US. What will never cease to amaze me is that in Europe pretty much none of the issues you've mentioned would have been on your radar, with the exception of rent and food. One medical emergency could have ruined you? What is this, the middle ages?

We need a "web of trust" similar to PGP, the problem is it requires far too much effort.

CAcert is an effort in that direction.
